CacheMyWork is an application that can restore your work after you reboot. When you launch this application, it will detect the applications that you are running on your computer. It will populate a list with them and place check boxes next to them. If you check one of the applications, it will be re-launched after your system reboots. What it will not do is magically save your open files or apps, it will simply re-launch them after a reboot. So you still have to do that manually.
You have to run this application just before you reboot your computer, so that it detects all the running applications, since apps launched after CacheMyWork was opened will not be detected. There only other thing this app does is restore open Windows Explorer windows after you reboot.
In my testing, I launched a couple of apps and then run CacheMyWork. I checked all the applications and clicked on "Save", which closed CacheMyWork. I then restarted my system and after the boot all the apps I had checked were opening.
There aren't any scheduling options so all the apps will launch at once. If you have too many, your system may become slow during the booting process.
